Ive downloaded and burned the iso to a dvd just find. i have two hard drives in my computer, one set to master and one set to slave both on the same IDE channel ( i have a dvd and cdburner on the other IDE channel.) i have windows XP on my master drive and am trying to get vista on to the slave drive in a dual boot configuration. Ive tried booting off the dvd but it would at teh screen were the three grey bars scrolls across with the windows vista logo ontop (like the xp boot screen.) ive also tried isntalling xp on the slave drive (didnt activate it becuase i only have one copy of xp) and tried doing a upgrade. which seemed to work till it had to reboot, at which it froze in the same place. thanks in advance.
ps: i downloaded the vista iso so since ithought it might have been that ive downloaded it again but with the downloaded that MS recommended. i will try that again a little later today.
