Continued XP and Vista hang on install - MB issue?
I got up to 3 gigs, once i tried the 4th gig windows vista would attempt to boot and then my PC would restart. It did that every time so I might have to wait I built PCs before if the board says its good for PC2-6400 it should work, especially since when I go to the BIOS it reads the RAM fine but VISTA hangs.

I can select the empty partition and copying the Vista files works, followed by the reboot. However, the PC hangs on the Expanding files section at 27%. Any ideas? There are stability concerns around the changes that could cause hangs and crashes. Adding or removing hardware would be another issue. both OS's would need It won't give you the dual-boot option on start-up. It'll go directly to the hibernating OS.
